L’antichristianisme est en explosion en Argentine. Chaque semaine apporte son lot de nouvelles profanations de lieux de culte depuis les deux derniers mois. Cette fois, c’est une statue de la Sainte Vierge qui a été décapitée au Sanctuaire de Schoenstatt, à quelques mètres de la Cathédrale de La Plata. La statue avait déjà subi une autre attaque il y a deux semaines : ses deux mains avaient été tranchées…
Ces attaques provoquent l’inquiétude croissante des fidèles. Il y a environ 10 jours, les représentations des stations du chemin de Croix de ce sanctuaire avaient été détachées des colonnes du jardin et jetées sur le trottoir. Certaines de ces représentations du chemin de Croix ont pu être réinstallées mais deux ont disparu. Une plaque sur laquelle était écrite une prière conseillée aux jeunes catholiques a également été brisée.
