La vague de profanations antichrétiennes continue de se propager en Argentine. Cette fois, les faits ont été commis dans la chapelle de la Maison de l’Esprit Saint à Asuncion
Durant la matinée du 14 novembre, des inconnus ont profané et endommagé le tabernacle de la chapelle de la Maison de l’Esprit Saint d’Asuncion à Bahia Blanca
L’archevêque a publié un communiqué: « Ceux qui ont fait cela (destruction de portes, armoires, vols de ventilateurs et de tondeuses à gazon) ont aussi brisé un tabernacle dans lequel se gardaient les hosties consacrées. Ce tabernacle était composé de marbre et de bronze. Ils l’ont jeté au sol, forcé la porte et volé le calice avec le Saint Sacrement. On a retrouvé sur le sol des restes d’hosties mais pas de calice ».
« Nous nous sentons profondément meurtris et consternés par cet acte de profanation de la Sainte Eucharistie qui constitue le trésor le plus grand de l’Eglise et dans lequel on vénère la Présence réelle du Corps et du Sang de NSJC » a dit Mgr Guillermo José Garlatti
Dans l’immeuble de la Maison de l’Esprit Saint, situé rue Rincon 3910, à la périphérie de Bahia Blanca, existe une école sur trois niveaux. Historiquement, l’immeuble appartenait au séminaire. Le lendemain des faits, la communauté éducative a participé à une messe de réparation.
L’archevêque de Bahia Blanca, Mgr Garlatti, a demandé que soient offertes dans toutes les paroisses et communautés religieuses la célébration de la Sainte Messe et les oraisons spéciales de réparation pour cet acte « qui non seulement nous remplit de douleur mais également touche les croyances les plus nobles des fidèles catholiques ».
