Médias-Presse.Info avait déjà signalé comment un bâtiment aménagé par la Croix-Rouge pour loger 500 immigrés à Bruxelles est resté quasiment vide, les immigrés préférant continuer à loger sous tente dans un parc, « à manger et boire quand on veut » et « à aller où on veut », selon les mots d’immigrés interrogés par les médias belges.
Cette attitude des immigrés à provoqué un certain mécontentement de Theo Francken, secrétaire d’Etat à l’Asile et aux Migrations.
Dans un premier temps, Theo Francken a réagi via Twitter : « Je propose un pré-accueil basique. Seulement 14 y ont été. Ils ne veulent tout simplement pas ».
Ce membre du gouvernement fédéral belge a ensuite ajouté à la télévision flamande VRT : « Que voulez-vous que je fasse de plus ? Il faut leur offrir l’hôtel peut-être ? »
Une réaction naturelle qui a pourtant immédiatement été critiquée par tous les partis de gauche qui persistent dans leur aveuglement.
Précédemment, Theo Francken avait déjà déclaré :
« (…) on n’a pas la possibilité d’accueillir toujours plus de gens. On n’a ni la capacité de le faire, ni les moyens financiers. On n’a pas non plus les moyens de les intégrer. On demande aux citoyens de faire des économies… L’opinion publique ne pas nous soutenir (…) »
