Elijah Wood est l’acteur rendu célèbre par l’adaptation cinématographique du Seigneur des Anneaux. Au cours d’une interview accordée au Sunday Times, l’acteur aujourd’hui âgé de 35 ans décrit Hollywood comme un repère de pédophiles. Il n’avait que 8 ans lorsque sa mère l’a conduit à fréquenter le milieu du show business d’Hollywood.

En 2014, un film-documentaire intitulé An Open Secret a largement évoqué ces scandales pédophiles qui se perpétuent à Hollywood. Selon Anne Henry, cofondatrice d’une association d’aide aux enfants acteurs, Hollywood protégerait en son sein au moins une centaine de pédophiles encore actifs !
