Lundi soir, quelques heures après que le docteur Sanchez annonçait par mail aux parents de Vincent Lambert l’arrêt de l’hydratation et de l’alimentation de leur fils, la Cour d’Appel de Paris en a ordonné la reprise.
La cour « ordonne à l’État français (…) de prendre toutes mesures aux fins de faire respecter les mesures provisoires demandées par le Comité international des droits des personnes handicapées [organisme des Nations unies, lui aussi saisi par les parents] le 3 mai 2019 tendant au maintien de l’alimentation et l’hydratation », selon la décision rendue lundi 20 mai. « Nous ne sommes pas tenus par ce comité légalement », avait pourtant tenté d’assurer la ministre de la santé Agnès Buzyn le 5 mai.
« On a gagné, ça veut dire que les mesures provisoires vont pouvoir s’appliquer. La cour de Paris a ordonné des mesures conservatoires, à savoir que l’alimentation et l’hydratation de Vincent doivent être reprises sans délai. C’est donc une extraordinaire victoire (…). Ce n’est que la première des victoires. C’est la remontada », a commenté Me Jean Paillot. « Ce n’est qu’une décision provisoire » d’une « durée de six mois, permettant au comité de l’ONU d’étudier le dossier », a-t-il précisé.
Une victoire saluée par les avocats de la famille. Une victoire contre la culture de mort qui veut « euthanasier » Vincent Lambert, grand handicapé mais pas en fin de vie !
