Alors qu’il ne fait aucun doute que les socialistes vont droit vers une défaite  avec le 2^ème tour des municipales. La question est désormais de la limiter et pour cela les triangulaires vont en être un moyen. Mais quel que soit le résultat final, pour tout le monde, Hollande n’a plus le choix : il va devoir remanier son gouvernement.

Pour certains socialistes, Hollande aurait dû le faire depuis longtemps et c’est encore une faute. Certains candidats n’ont pas hésité à s’en prendre au gouvernement, lui attribuant leur défaite, comme Anne Hidalgo qui aurait déclaré dimanche soir : « Quelqu’un pourrait remercier ce gouvernement de branquignols qu’on devrait tous mettre à la porte? ». Un changement s’impose pour François Hollande qui va sans doute s’adresser aux Français la semaine prochaine pour leur dire qu’il a compris le message. Il y aura donc un remaniement du gouvernement et cela se ressent déjà dans les agendas des ministres. Le président va probablement devoir se résoudre à se séparer de son premier ministre.

Pourtant Hollande voudrait tout faire pour pouvoir conserver Jean-Marc Ayrault en qui il a confiance. Mais qui peut savoir ce qui se trame dans les coulisses de l’Elysée ? On murmure le nom de Valls et même si fort que Cécile Duflot a déclaré qu’elle quitterait le gouvernement si c’était le cas. On se souvient que la ministre du Logement avait marqué ses distances suite aux propos du ministre de l’Intérieur sur les Roms. On sait bien que l’ambition de Valls est d’accéder à Matignon et il a tout fait pour cela. Impitoyable à Place Beauvau, il a montré par son zèle sa fiabilité et sa fermeté. Il a évité tous les pièges et n’a participé à aucun couac gouvernemental. Pour encore alimenter les rumeurs, certains font remarquer que lundi, à 10h, Hollande aura un entretien avec Valls tandis qu’il déjeunera avec Jean-Marc Ayrault à 13h. Est-ce un moyen d’effectuer une transition sans le dire ? On peut le penser.

Mais le remaniement est-il si inévitable ? Sarkozy a fait tout son mandat avec le même premier ministre, François Fillon, malgré la forte rumeur qui annonçait son remplacement par Borloo, un temps pressenti.

Pour les fidèles de Valls, cela ne fait aucun doute : il remplacera Jean-Marc Ayrault. Pour l’instant le principal intéressé se tait, préférant ne pas commenter ces rumeurs. Patience. On aura vraisemblablement la réponse la semaine prochaine !
