Manuel Valls a été interpellé par le président du groupe Les Républicains à l’Assemblée nationale Christian Jacob : « Les Français ne supportent plus le spectacle affligeant que vous-même et le président de la République donnez à la tête de l’exécutif« , a déclaré le député de Seine-et-Marne, qui redoute que « le gouvernement de la France continue d’être la risée du monde entier« .
Le président du groupe UDI à l’Assemblée nationale Philippe Vigier a lui aussi mis en cause le couple exécutif : « La question du leadership et de la ligne politique n’ont toujours pas été tranchées… » Manuel Valls lui a répondu, une fois de plus, qu’il n’y avait pas « de crise de régime » :
N’empêche que ce feuilleton à rebondissements de la pré-primaire de la gauche donne une image de l’exécutif composé du tandem Hollande-Valls et du parti socialiste… en crise.
