Une vidéo dans laquelle s’exprime l’un des principaux dirigeants d’Al-Qaïda au Yémen revendique l’attaque de Charlie Hebdo à Paris.
Le groupe islamiste menace également la France de nouvelles attaques.
Selon cette vidéo signée « Al-Qaïda dans la péninsule arabique », les auteurs des attentats sont des « soldats de l’Islam ». La vidéo affirme que l’attaque a été menée par ordre de son chef suprême, l’Egyptien Ajman al-Zawahiri. «Nous sommes là pour clarifier envers la nation musulmane que c’est nous qui avons choisi la cible, financé l’opération et recruté son chef. »
« Ces héros ont été recrutés par nous », a déclaré Nasser bin Ali al-Anassi, l’un des dirigeants d’Al-Qaïda au Yémen. « Félicitations pour cette vengeance », dit encore ce message vidéo.
La vidéo de propagande, qui commence en montrant une photo de l’ancien chef d’Al-Qaïda, Oussama ben Laden, a été publié sur un site islamiste.
