Le soi-disant artiste Abel Azcona dit avoir vendu pour 285.000 euros le montage blasphématoire de Pampelune intitulé « Amen ». « L’œuvre » se compose de deux photographies montrant le mot « pédérastie » composé avec des hosties consacrées profanées et un bol avec plusieurs des 242 hosties consacrées profanées que l’artiste affirme avoir collecté lors de différentes messes à Pampelune et à Madrid.
« Amen » fait partie de l’exposition « Desenterrados » présentée à Pampelune depuis novembre et qui a suscité une vive opposition de la part des catholiques espagnols scandalisés par cette profanation.
Des messes de réparation ont été célébrées dans la cathédrale et l’archevêque a condamné la «profanation» de l’Eucharistie et le «grave sacrilège ».
Les habitants de Pampelune continuent de prier tous les mardis à 18h devant la porte du lieu d’exposition, La Ville prévoit de maintenir l’exposition ouverte jusqu’au 17 janvier.
