Une Marche pour la Famille était organisée samedi après-midi à Anvers.
Environ trois cents manifestants ont défilé dans le centre-ville d’Anvers à l’appel de l’association catholique Pro Familia. La bonne humeur a été interrompue dès le début par un perturbateur gauchiste qui s’est mis à hurler au moment où l’organisateur Dries Goethals donnait quelques consignes. L’énergumène a été éloigné par la police présente en nombre.
D’autre part, la police a également saisi deux banderoles de militants pro-vie illustrées de photos de fœtus avortés, des images potentiellement choquantes, selon la police. Bien sûr, ces images sont choquantes, mais elles ne sont que le reflet de la réalité de l’avortement défendu bec et ongle par le législateur et les mouvements féministes.
Ces deux incidents n’ont pas empêché la manifestation de démarrer dans une ambiance bon enfant. La présence d’une statue de la Sainte Vierge témoignait du catholicisme assumé des marcheurs, parmi lesquels on pouvait reconnaître quelques prêtres de la Fraternité Saint Pie X.
Les marcheurs ont fait une halte devant le palais de l’évêque. S’arrêter sous le balcon de Mgr Bonny était un geste symbolique, en raison des libertés que ce prélat prend avec la doctrine catholique qu’il remet fondamentalement en cause, notamment en matière morale. Mgr Bonny a notamment été récompensé par le lobby LGBT pour ses propos souhaitant que l’Eglise Catholique accepte l’homosexualité.
Les organisateurs de cette Marche pour la Famille voulaient remettre à Mgr Bonny un exemplaire du Catéchisme de Malines afin de lui rappeler ce qu’enseigne l’Eglise catholique.
Comme la porte est restée fermée, une enveloppe contenant cet exemplaire du Catéchisme a été glissée dans la boîte aux lettres. Puis le cortège s’est remis en route.
