La Grande Loge traditionnelle de France (GLTF) vient d’ouvrir ce 30 novembre en toute discrétion « Le cep d’or », une nouvelle loge à Cognac. Jusqu’ici absente de toute la Charente, cette obédience est une dissidence de la Grande Loge nationale française (GLNF), née à la suite des scandales politico-financiers qui ont éclaboussé celle-ci ces dernières années.
Treize « frères » composent cette nouvelle loge. Ici à Cognac, la concurrence est rude entre les obédiences, bien représentées parmi les politiciens et les chefs d’entreprise locaux. La loge « Honneur et Probité » (défense de rire !) y représente le Grand Orient de France. Jérôme Royer, le maire de Jarnac, est lui une figure notoire de la Grande Loge de France (GLDF). L’un des rares politiciens locaux qui assume son adhésion à la franc-maçonnerie qui cultive l’image d’une force occulte.
