Un pakistanais de 36 ans a été arrêté à son arrivée sur le sol italien à l’aéroport de Leonard de Vinci de Fiumicino. Le terroriste venait d’Islamabad bien qu’il soit déclaré comme étant résidant à Rome. Et chose incroyable, ce terroriste a pu résider sur le territoire européen depuis des années alors qu’il serait l’un des organisateurs de l’attentat sur un marché de Peshawar en 2009 qui avait fait plusieurs dizaines de morts. Ce pakistanais faisait partie d’une cellule liée à Al-Qaïda et basée en Italie.
Il projetait avec son complice arrêté à Olbia de commettre un attentat kamikaze contre le pape François.
