Le rabbin Aryeh Goodman, qui dirige un centre d’enseignement du judaïsme depuis son domicile, au New Jersey, vient d’être arrêté pour avoir fait appel à un réseau de prostitution qui fournissait des jeunes filles mineures.
Ce rabbin du New Jersey, déjà inscrit sur la liste des délinquants sexuels, a été arrêté pour avoir fait appel aux services d’une prostituée mineure.
Le rabbin Goodman a rencontré l’adolescente à l’hôtel le 1er février et a payé pour avoir des relations sexuelles avec elle, selon le communiqué. Il s’est rendu de lui-même au département de la police d’East Brunswick presque une semaine après, accompagné par son avocat.
Ce rabbin Aryeh Goodman était déjà inscrit sur la liste des délinquants sexuels à haut risque, selon Meyer Seewald, directeur et fondateur de l’organisation Jewish Community Watch, dont les activités sont consacrées à la lutte contre les abus sexuels contre les enfants au sein de la communauté juive.
Le rabbin Goodman avait agressé sexuellement une fillette lorsqu’il était conseiller dans un camp de vacances en 2001. Il avait été condamné à une peine de 23 mois de prison.
