CENTENAIRE DE LA CANONISATION
Court-métrage d’animation sur Jeanne d’Arc : Plongez dans l’enchantement, le merveilleux et la transcendance qui émanent du temps médiéval.
JEHANNE est un court-métrage animé de 15 minutes autour de la figure de Jeanne d’Arc et de son époque, en cours de développement.

Le projet laisse de côté l’aspect purement historique de l’épopée pour mettre en avant la vision spirituelle et le merveilleux qui se dégagent de la geste de Jeanne d’Arc, à la manière des enluminures du Moyen-Âge où le spirituel avait autant d’importance, sinon plus, que le temporel. Cette production se veut également un hymne à la France des paysans et des villages qui vivaient au rythme de la nature et des saisons, en cherchant le lien charnel et spirituel qui les rattache au destin de sainte Jeanne d’Arc.
Pour ce faire, JEHANNE s’inspire de l’iconographie et de la musique du Moyen-Âge, aux couleurs chatoyantes et vives, aux mélodies rêveuses, aux enluminures, aux musiques dansantes, aux dessins presque enfantins.
Le film est réalisé en animation 2D selon la méthode traditionnelle : chaque image est dessinée et animée à la plume sur papier, à l’encre de Chine et à l’aquarelle. Ce sont, de surcroît, les outils utilisés par les miniaturistes au Moyen-Âge.
