Quelques jours après l’attentat qui a coûté la vie au père Jacques Hamel en France, le prêtre Jos Vanderlee, 65 ans, a été attaqué au couteau à son domicile à Lanaken, dans la province du Limbourg, dans le nord-est de la Belgique, peu après 15 heures.
Le prêtre belge était chez lui dimanche dernier lorsqu’un inconnu a frappé à sa porte, rapporte RTL Belgique. L’homme s’est présenté comme un « réfugié » et a demandé l’autorisation d’entrer pour prendre une douche. Le curé a accepté et l’a laissé faire. Sorti de la salle de bains, l’homme a réclamé de l’argent, mais le curé a refusé.
L’immigré a alors tenté de poignarder le prêtre avec un couteau, mais ce dernier a résisté, ce qui lui a valu des blessures aux mains et aux tendons, mais l’assaillant a été contraint de prendre la fuite. Le prêtre a aussitôt appelé les urgences, transporté à l’hôpital de Genk, il a été opéré avec succès, sa vie est hors de danger.
Le bourgmestre de Lanaken s’est empressé d’écarter la piste terroriste : « En dépit du fait que nous soyons très choqués, nous devons souligner que cet incident ne peut pas être lié à des faits de terrorisme à ce stade de l’enquête. » Quoiqu’il en soi, il s’agit pour le moins d’un acte lié aux joies de l’immigration. Ce « réfugié » ne s’est pas trompé de cible, il n’a pas poignardé un imam, mais un prêtre!
Au moment où j’écris, la « chance » pour l’Union européenne court toujours, la police ayant lancé un appel à témoins.
Le pape François avec ses appels aux catholiques à ouvrir les portes de leurs maisons aux prétendus « réfugiés » a été pris aux mots. Quelle meilleure maison que celle d’un prêtre ?
