Dans un monde moderne frappé par la folie, il faut désormais subir parfois un passage par la justice pour obtenir le rappel d’évidences. Aux Etats-Unis, c’est donc un tribunal qui vient rappeler qu’il est normal que le concours de beauté Miss USA puisse décider d’interdire la candidature de transgenres.

Un juge fédéral de l’Oregon a statué la semaine dernière sur ce sujet suite à la plainte d’un transgenre né homme qui se fait appeler maintenant Anita Noelle Green et dont la candidature au concours Miss USA 2019 avait été refusée.

Les conditions d’éligibilité aux concours indiquent clairement sur le site Web que les participantes au concours Miss USA doivent être, entre autres, une «femme née femme».
