C’est au détour d’un bref article publié seulement le 29 décembre par Le Parisien qu’on apprend qu’un individu a interrompu la fin de la messe du dimanche 24 décembre en l’église Saint-Jean-Baptiste, dans le quartier du Val-Fourré, en menaçant d’égorger les fidèles !
Il est symptomatique de constater que cette information fait l’objet d’une simple brève publiée en catimini dans un journal régional alors que les faits se sont pourtant déroulés en présence du maire de Mantes-la-Jolie, Raphaël Cognet (LR).
Le maire et le curé de l’église du Val-Fourré ont d’ailleurs porté plainte contre l’individu qui n’a toujours pas été retrouvé. Bien sûr, selon la formule consacrée, il s’agirait d’un « déséquilibré ».
