Au cimetière de l’Eglise Sainte-Anne-des-Pins, à Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, une statue en pierre de vierge à l’enfant vandalisée devait être restaurée : la tête de l’enfant Jésus devait être refaite.
Un artiste local a réalisé une tête provisoire en terre cuite avant de sculpter en pierre blanche la tête définitive qui sera replacée sur la statue…
Cette femme qui s’est spontanément proposée pour le faire a donc modelé une tête en argile…
Le curé, l’abbé Lajeunesse, a évoqué le désarroi de ses paroissiens scandalisés devant cette tête…
On les comprend !
Pour sa défense, le curé argue de ce « qu’il n’a pas été préparé à cela au séminaire »…
On peut tout de même se poser des questions sur les motivations de l’artiste quant à la réalisation de cette tête pour le moins de style satanique !
