Canada – Une affaire d’agressions sexuelles commises sur six adolescentes d’Edmonton par un « réfugié » syrien vient sérieusement mettre à mal la politique d’immigration particulièrement laxiste du gouvernement de Justin Trudeau.
Soleiman Hajj Soleiman, 39 ans, a été arrêté le 4 février 2017. Il est accusé d’agressions sexuelles sur six adolescentes toutes âgées de moins de 16 ans. Les faits se sont produits dans une piscine d’Edmonton.
La polémique a pris d’autant plus d’ampleur qu’il est apparu que les médias mainstream locaux ont tenté de camoufler l’affaire en cachant dans un premier temps que le délinquant sexuel est un demandeur d’asile.
La colère des Canadiens est telle que les organismes qui travaillent à l’accueil des immigrés dans la ville d’Edmonton ont été noyés d’appels et de courriers réclamant de cesser d’aider les immigrés.
Erick Ambtman, directeur d’un centre d’accueil local pour les migrants, s’est exprimé devant les médias et a tenté de minimiser l’importance des faits.
Quant à Mohamed Huque, directeur de l’Association islamique de la famille et des services sociaux, il a surtout regretté que l’identité du coupable ait été divulguée ! « Je suis déçu que son statut ait été identifié dans cette affaire », a-t-il déclaré, sans exprimer la moindre empathie pour les victimes.
Soleiman Hajj Soleiman est arrivé en janvier 2016 au Canada en tant que demandeur d’asile. Il n’aura pas été nécessaire d’attendre longtemps avant de constater ce qu’il apporte au pays qui l’a accueilli.
