En Belgique, depuis une huitaine de jours, des sites des plus importants groupes de presse se font régulièrement piratés. Les auteurs seraient, selon les enquêteurs, de… simples adolescents, parfois âgés d’à peine quinze ans.
A cette occasion, Olivier Bogaert, porte-parole de la Computer Crime Unit, unité de police belge chargée de la criminalité informatique, a averti des risques graves que le piratage informatique peut désormais faire courir, notamment concernant les avions !
« (…) le réseau IP pourrait permettre à un pirate d’avoir accès à distance aux systèmes avioniques et de les compromettre« , prévient Olivier Bogaert qui mentionne un rapport du gouvernement américain à ce sujet qui s’inquiète des risques que courent les avions commerciaux de plus en plus connectés à internet. A partir de là, des pirates informatiques pourraient réussir à s’emparer à distance du pilotage d’un avion qui, depuis peu, ne fonctionne plus de façon autonome dans de nombreux avions.
