Mardi 19 janvier 2016 le R.P. Antoine, Père Gardien (Supérieur) des frères capucins de Morgon s’est rendu au Couvent de la Haye-aux-Bonshommes pour une visite canonique conformément à la pratique multiséculaire de l’Eglise.
C’est à la demande des Dominicains d’Avrillé que le Père Antoine a effectué ce geste de charité fraternelle, car, comme le proclame saint Paul, « la charité excuse tout, elle croit tout, elle espère tout, elle supporte tout » (1 Corinthiens, 13-7).
Un couvent ne pouvant resté replié sur lui-même, il est nécessaire que, périodiquement, un regard extérieur autorisé vienne examiner si les observances et l’esprit religieux y sont maintenus.
A l’exemple des plus pauvres d’entre les pauvres, revêtons-nous donc, nous aussi, « de la charité, qui est le lien de la perfection » (Colossiens, 3-14).
