Turquie – Le dimanche 30 mars, les Turcs votaient pour les élections municipales. Recep Tayyip Erdogan et son parti l’AKP (parti de la justice et du développement) sont sortis victorieux.
Parmi les nouveaux élus, quatre sont néanmoins connus pour être favorables aux revendications LGBT et à la théorie du genre. Ils apparaissent parmi les signataires d’un protocole rédigé par l’association des politiques sociales et des études sur l’identité de genre et l’orientation sexuelle (SPOD). Trois ont été élus dans les districts centraux d’Istanbul et sont issus du parti du peuple républicain (CHP): Aykurt Nuhoğlu à Kadıköy, Murat Hazinedar à Beşiktaş et Hayri İnönü à Şişli.
Le quatrième est Yüksel Mutlu, candidat du parti de la paix et de la démocratie (BDP), élue dans le district d’Akdeniz de la province de Mersin.
