Donald Trump s’est associé à la Journée de l’Holocauste célébrée vendredi dernier partout dans le monde, Vatican compris, mais sans citer nommément les juifs. Il a promis « la tolérance partout dans le monde » , rendu dans un communiqué hommage aux « victimes, survivants et héros » de l’Holocauste mais n’a pas une seule fois évoqué les juifs.
Consternation dans la communauté juive internationale qui n’est pas loin d’y voir un acte anti-sémite en puissance ! L’association extrémiste Anti-Defamation League, spécialisée dans la chasse aux actes anti-sémites, ou supposés tels par cette autoproclamée conscience morale de l’univers, s’inquiète :
« C’est déconcertant et inquiétant que le communiqué de la Maison Blanche ne fasse pas mention des Juifs. Les présidents républicains et démocrates l’ont fait dans le passé » a tweeté le directeur de l’ADL Jonathan Greenblatt.
Donald Trump n’améliore pas son image aux yeux de l’intelligentzia bien-pensante mais montre son parfait mépris de la pensée unique. Un autre bon point pour lui…
