Qui est Nerriec ?
Jean-Yves Nerriec est né d’une « famille » musulmane algérienne, mais adopté à l’âge de 3 et demi par une famille française de culture catholique,
il a été baptisé à l’âge de 7 ans mais s’est converti profondément à 16 ans. Sa famille d’origine l’a retrouvé à 17 ans ce qui l’a obligé à s’interroger sur l’Islam.
Très vite il a compris que cette croyance ne venait pas de Dieu. Il a donc fondé la Mission Angelus qui se donne le but de convertir les musulmans.
Les quatre actions menées par la Mission Angelus à cet effet sont :
1/ Prière de l’Angelus de midi pour la conversion des musulmans
2/ Contact direct avec les personnes musulmanes pour leur annoncer le Christ
3/ Formation des chrétiens à la mission
4/ Accueil et suivit des personnes musulmanes pour aller jusqu’au baptême et l’après baptême.
