Italie – L’alliance de droite menée par Matteo Salvini a remporté les élections régionales en Ombrie, fief historique de la gauche. Salvini inflige ainsi un véritable camouflet à la coalition au pouvoir en Italie.
L’avocate Donatella Tesei, candidate de la Ligue de Matteo Salvini, soutenue par Fratelli d’ItaIia ainsi que par Forza Italia de Silvio Berlusconi, a obtenu une majorité écrasante de 57,55%.
La défaite est cuisante pour Vincenzo Bianconi, soutenu lui par une alliance entre le Parti Démocrate (PD, centre gauche) et le Mouvement Cinq Etoiles (anti-establishment) qui n’a obtenu que 37,5% des voix.
