C’est l’une des suites logiques de la théorie du genre. Si vous avez le droit de nier le réel biologique et anatomique en vous prétendant homme si vous êtes une femme ou l’inverse si vous êtes un homme, et de vous déclarer transgenre, voire intersexe si vous voulez alterner selon les jours, pourquoi ne pourriez-vous pas nier le réel racial et vous prétendre noir malgré que vous êtes de toute évidence blanc, ou vous prétendre asiatique malgré votre peau ébène.
Le cas d’Adam, un habitant de Floride, est plus original encore. Cet individu est à la fois transgenre et transracial. Il se prend tout simplement pour une femme philippine et se fait désormais appeler Ja Du. Inutile de lui dire qu’il n’a vraiment pas la tête d’une femme philippine. Lui l’a décidé ainsi et la société occidentale moderne complètement décadente et folle le lui permet. C’est son choix, point à la ligne. On attend avec intérêt le jour où, étape suivante inévitable, un homme blanc barbu demandera d’être reconnu comme un poisson rouge femelle. Quel progrès ce sera !
En attendant, Adam, pardon, Ja Du, conduit même un tuk-tuk rose, ces tricycles motorisés communs dans plusieurs pays d’Asie du Sud-Est.
