Canada – Mark Saunders, chef de la police de Toronto a indiqué qu’un homme de 27 ans a été arrêté lundi après avoir poignardé deux membres des Forces Armées dans un centre de recrutement militaire.
L’assaillant est entré dans le centre de recrutement vers 15h, a sorti un couteau et a attaqué la personne derrière le comptoir, un membre en uniforme des Forces armées canadiennes. Le criminel s’est ensuite avancé dans le bâtiment, mais a été maîtrisé et plaqué au sol par plusieurs soldats. Au cours de cette bagarre, un second militaire a été blessé. Les blessures des deux militaires ne sont pas mortelles.
Le chef de police a affirmé que certains faits portent à croire qu’il s’agit d’un acte terroriste.
La Gendarmerie royale du Canada (GRC)et le Service canadien de renseignement de sécurité SCRS participent à l’enquête et la police a fait un appel à témoin.
