Trois hommes homosexuels se sont « mariés » en Thaïlande.
La cérémonie bouddhiste qui unit ce « trouple » n’est cependant pas reconnue par l’Etat thaïlandais.
La législation thaïlandaise ne reconnaît pas le mariage entre personnes de même sexe, mais le bouddhisme tolère à la fois la polygamie et l’homosexualité, sauf pour les moines qui ont obligation de rester célibataires.
Voilà donc un fait supplémentaire qui vient donner raison à la campagne qui avait été menée par Civitas avec pour slogan « Aujourd’hui le mariage homo, demain la polygamie ».
L’année dernière, aux Etats-Unis, un juge fédéral avait invalidé une partie de la loi contre la polygamie en Utah.
En 2013, trois femmes lesbiennes avaient annoncé leur mariage dans le Massachusetts, et l’année dernière elles ont déclaré qu’elles attendaient un enfant.
