C’est le site pétrochimique de LyondellBassel situé à Berre-l’Etang, dans les Bouches-du-Rhône, qui est en feu depuis ce mardi matin.
Deux foyers d’incendies ont été constatés.
C’est vers 3h du matin que deux explosions ont été entendues. Deux cuves distantes de 500 mètres et remplies de produits chimiques ont été touchées. L’une contient de l’essence, l’autre du naphta.
Ce site pétrochimique est situé près de l’aéroport de Marseille-Marignane.
Un épais nuage de fumée noire est visible à des kilomètres à la ronde.
LyondellBassell est une multinationale américaine présente à travers le monde.
