Samedi 8 juillet vers 22h45, un individu d’une vingtaine d’années a tenté d’arracher l’arme d’un soldat de l’opération Sentinelle au centre-ville de Metz.
Les faits ont été rapportés par Le Républicain Lorrain de ce 9 juillet. L’individu a voulu s’emparer du fusil-mitrailleur d’un militaire de l’opération Sentinelle qui assurait la sécurisation du festival Constellations, devant la cathédrale de Metz. Le militaire a repoussé l’agresseur qui s’est aussitôt enfui et a disparu parmi la foule.
Aucun coup de feu n’a été tiré et personne n’a été blessé.
Une enquête a été ouverte pour identifier cet individu qui “était vraisemblablement accompagné d’une jeune femme, également en cours d’identification”, rapporte Le Républicain Lorrain.
