Cet attentat a eu lieu au cours d’une opération de perquisition ce lundi 29 juin dans l’un de domicile d’un présumé représentant de Boko Haram qui s’occupe du Tchad et du Cameroun. En effet, il est 7 heures du matin lorsqu’une unité de la police tchadienne atterrit dans une concession située dans le quartier Ndjari dans le 8è arrondissement où se serait caché un groupe de terroriste. Certains d’entre eux font sauter leurs ceintures d’explosifs. Le porte-parole de la police tchadienne affirme que le bilan est de 11 morts dont 5 policiers et 1 informateur.
Depuis les attentats du 15 juin, les autorités tchadiennes multiplient ce type d’opération. Elles ont permis l’interpellation d’une soixantaine de personnes, a indiqué dimanche Alghassim Khamis, procureur de la République de N’Djamena. « Ce sont des ressortissants du Cameroun, du Nigeria, du Mali et du Tchad », a-t-il précisé.
« Des débris collectés sur les lieux des attentats ont été confiés au FBI, qui se charge de les analyser scientifiquement. »
