L’agence Fides rapporte cette terrible histoire. Tarfa Younis est chrétienne. C’est une enfant orpheline de 12 ans qui vit dans le Pendjab, une région du sous-continent indien comprenant une grande partie de l’est du Pakistan et du nord-ouest de l’Inde. Dans cette région le viol et le mariage forcé des jeunes chrétiennes sont répandus.
La malheureuse avait été confiée à ses deux frères en 2005 lorsqu’elle devint orpheline. Ceux-ci l’ont vendue à un musulman de 55 ans qui a fabriqué un faux certificat de mariage et l’a violé de façon récurrente. Le neveu s’y est mis à son tour !
Depuis les deux violeurs ont été incarcérés alors que les frères de Tarfa Younis, Shamaun et Asif, courent toujours.
