Belgique – Dans l’édition de ce week-end du journal Le Soir, deux pages sont consacrées au synode extraordinaire sur la Famille organisé au Vatican en ce moment. Pour l’occasion, le quotidien laïciste interroge Henri Bartholomeeusen, président du Centre d’Action Laïque (CAL) depuis fin mars.
Curieusement, le journal ne croit pas utile de préciser qu’Henri Bartholomeeusen est un ancien « Grand Maître » du Grand Orient de Belgique, principale obédience maçonnique.
En quoi ce franc-maçon est-il qualifié pour parler d’un synode qui concerne avant tout les catholiques ? Peut-être est-ce sa grande proximité avec le cardinal Danneels, prélat très éloigné de la doctrine catholique, qui explique qu’Henri Bartholomeeusen vienne donner des leçons aux catholiques. En 2008, le cardinal Danneels avait accepté de débattre avec Henri Bartholomeeusen alors qu’il était à la tête du Grand Orient de Belgique. Les poignées de mains entre les deux hommes avaient été plus que chaleureuses.
Avec tout le sens de la nuance qu’on peut attendre d’un franc-maçon viscéralement hostile au christianisme, Henri Bartholomeeusen a déclaré au journal Le Soir de ce week-end à propos de la position de l’Eglise catholique sur la Famille : « La conception de la famille qui est défendue ici n’est pas loin de celle de Vichy.«
