Sa flèche du XIIIe siècle, détruite à la Révolution et reconstruite par Violet-le-Duc, sa magnifique charpente du XIIe et XIIIe siècles, ne domineront plus Paris.
C’est un pan du patrimoine culturel, architectural, sculptural, historique, mais surtout religieux de France qui s’écroule. Peut-être est-ce là un symbole de la désagrégation du catholicisme en cette terre de chrétienté, fille aînée de l’Église, en Occident, au Vatican même…
En deux mois, c’est aussi la 7e église de France qui brûle…
