C’est en tout ce qu’on peut penser en lisant qu’il n’y aura plus d’épreuves écrites pour entrer à Sciences Po à partir de la rentrée 2021.
Dès la rentrée 2021, tous les candidats seront jugés sur le contrôle continu au lycée, ainsi que la moyenne de leurs épreuves écrites au baccalauréat. Ils devront aussi rendre un essai écrit sur leur motivation et auront un entretien oral pour les admissibles.
L’IEP se dit « convaincu que l’excellence ne se résume pas l’accumulation de savoirs académiques ». Et s’engage à recruter a minima 30% d’élèves boursiers à chaque nouvelle promotion, dont la moitié devra être originaire des lycées ayant signé des conventions éducation prioritaire (CEP) avec Sciences Po, un dispositif mis en place en 2001 par Richard Descoings, ancien directeur de Sciences Po. L’institut va augmenter le nombre de lycées partenaires, passant de 106 aujourd’hui à plus de 200 « dans les prochaines années ».
