MPI avait déjà signalé que Mgr Vitus Huonder, l’évêque de Coire avait pris la décision de sanctionner l’abbé Wendelin Bucheli qui a démontré être en rupture avec la doctrine de l’Eglise catholique.
Dans une interview à kath.ch, Mgr Marian Eleganti, l’évêque auxiliaire de Coire, estime également qu’en donnant une bénédiction à un duo de lesbiennes, l’abbé Wendelin Bucheli a agi “de manière péremptoire et profondément déloyale”.
La question sera abordée lors de la prochaine séance de la Conférence des évêques suisses (CES) au début du mois de mars. L’évêque auxiliaire rappelle que les enseignements de l’Eglise au sujet du mariage, union voulue par Dieu d’un homme et d’une femme, sont clairs et que les agents pastoraux qui ne respectent pas ces directives agissent de manière péremptoire et profondément déloyale. L’abbé Wendelin Bucheli agit contre l’enseignement de l’Eglise.
Mgr Eleganti rappelle également que l’Eglise enseigne que chaque enfant a besoin d’une mère et d’un père.
Dans « Matin Dimanche », Mgr Morerod s’est également exprimé : « Ce n’est pas à un curé ou à un évêque de remettre en question le mariage catholique ».
Mais, sans surprise, la presse locale prend le parti de la subversion et fait écho à la mobilisation du lobby LGBT pour soutenir le curé homosexualiste.
