L’armée syrienne a détruit des fiefs des réseaux djihadistes à Alep et dans sa banlieue, notamment à la vieille ville, à Leyramoun et à Chaar. Une source militaire a indiqué que des terroristes avaient été abattus au village de Mansoura à l’ouest de la ville, dans les localités de Hreitan et Anadan et aux entours des localités de Nubbol et Zaharaa.
L’armée a aussi mené des combats contre le «Front al-Nosra» dans la banlieue sud-est de la ville, éliminant nombre de ses éléments qui se dirigeaient vers Sfeira et Khanasser. Des terroristes ont également été éliminés dans le village de Naïrab.
Dans la banlieue-est d’Alep, l’armée a infligé de lourdes pertes à l’Etat Islamique près de l’Académie aérienne sur l’autoroute de Raqqa. L’un des chefs de «Daech», dénommé Abou Omar al-Chichani, et qui était responsable des opérations djihadistes sur le front de Sfeira, a été tué durant cette attaque de l’armée syrienne.
Dans la banlieue de Quneitra, une unité de l’armée a éliminé un groupe terroriste qui tentait de s’infiltrer à partir des vergers du village de Jbata al-Khachab vers Tal al-Qabeh.
Enfin à Palmyre, une unité de l’armée a détruit une colonne de véhicules du réseau terroriste de «Daech» au nord du barrage de Wadi Abyadh dans la banlieue de la ville.
