Le terroriste Chérif Chekatt, recherché par les polices de France mais aussi d’Allemagne, n’avait donc pas quitté Strasbourg et le quartier du Neudorf.
Repéré par une habitante, il a été abattu hier soir vers 21 heures au 74 rue du Lazaret où un très important dispositif de police a été déployé : « les investigations réalisées dans la soirée ont déjà permis d’identifier formellement Cherif Chekatt » a confirmé le parquet antiterroriste de Paris.
Cherif Chekatt avait tout du profil du terroriste : criminel récidiviste, plusieurs fois condamné, il s’est, comme on dit, « radicalisé » en prison. Bien que fiché S et avec un lourd passé de condamnations, les autorités de la République comme toujours n’ont rien vu venir…
Son attaque au nom d’Allah aura fait pour l’instant 3 morts, un blessé en mort cérébrale et 12 autres dont 5 dans un état grave.
5 de ses proches sont toujours en garde à vue.
