L’association Sos outre-mer, qui aide depuis 23 ans un orphelinat chrétien au Liban, rejoint le comité de parrainage de la Manifestation nationale de soutien aux Chrétiens d’Orient organisée le 21 septembre à Paris.
SOS Outre-mer vient par ailleurs de lancer une opération avec un double objectif:
- Apporter un soutien financier aux chrétiens d’Irak et aux enfants de Syrie réfugiés au Liban;
- Inviter les Français qui soutiennent les chrétiens d’Orient à manifester leur solidarité en apposant sur leur voiture ou leur habitation un autocollant portant le signe de désignation des chrétiens persécutés en Irak, c’est-à-dire le Noun, cette lettre arabe signifiant Nazaréen et que les dijadistes tracent sur les maisons des familles chrétiennes pour les désigner à la vindicte islamiste.
Cette « étoile jaune » nouvelle formule sera ainsi détournée de sa vocation initiale pour devenir un signe de ralliement, de résistance et de solidarité chrétienne par delà les frontières.
