Barbara Gandolfi est une personnalité « people » apparaissant souvent en tenue légère dans la presse à sensation. Sa célébrité débute avec une émission de téléréalité dans laquelle elle joue de ses charmes. Mais c’est lorsqu’elle devient la compagne de l’acteur Jean-Paul Belmondo que les tabloïds s’arrachent ses photos et confidences. Au grand dam de la famille du comédien qui considère qu’elle abuse de la naïveté et de la générosité de celui-ci. Les « tourtereaux » sont désormais séparés mais Barbara Gandolfi bénéficie toujours de l’intérêt médiatique, et plus encore en Belgique dont elle est originaire. Eloignée de Jean-Paul Belmondo, Barbara Gandolfi s’est reconvertie dans la gestion… d’un club échangiste à Renaix, pas loin de la frontière franco-belge.
Dans un entretien qu’elle accorde au Soir Magazine, Barbara Gandolfi déclare qu’elle aimerait beaucoup rencontrer DSK, qu’elle trouve « brillant« . Nul doute que Dominique Strauss-Kahn ne devrait pas rester insensible à une telle invitation… Mais si Barbara Gandolfi précise ainsi qu’elle n’a « jamais dîné avec DSK« , contrairement à une rumeur, et qu’il « n’est jamais venu au Privilège« , le club échangiste dont elle s’occupe, elle ajoute : « Nous avons comme clients des personnalités importantes de la société belge, du monde politique comme des médias, mais pas Dominique Strauss-Kahn« .
De quoi réalimenter de nombreuses rumeurs sur les orgies sexuelles auxquelles participeraient des politiciens et des journalistes, les liant par des connivences peu avouables.
