Terre qui tremble. Villages, maisons, monuments et édifices en ruines. Et invasion de clandestins. L’Italie est sur les genoux. 
Lors d’une conférence de presse au Palais Chigi, le président du Conseil, Matteo Renzi a promis « une riposte ponctuelle » de la part de l’État et a précisé qu’avec l’Union Européenne, le gouvernement « dépensera tout ce qu’il faut » pour reconstruire ce que le tremblement de terre est en train de dévaster.
A cet appel du chef du gouvernement Italie, Matteo Salvini, le leader de Forza Italia, parti opposé vigoureusement à l’immigration sauvage qui déferle sur la péninsule, a répondu vertement sur sa page Facebook : « Des milliers d’Italiens sont sans maison et sans travail. Que l’Italie cesse d’envoyer des milliards en Europe et d’en dépenser encore pour accueillir et maintenir les clandestins. Chaque euro est destiné aux victimes des séismes. » « Les Italiens en premier. » intime-t-il !
