La célèbre galerie commerciale moscovite GUM (Главный Универсальный Магазин, soit « magasin principal universel ») installée sur la place Rouge, en face du Kremlin, a lancé hier la vente de t-shirts ornés de portraits de Vladimir Poutine.
Les créateurs de la collection ont présenté celle-ci comme visantà célébrer« les dernières victoires de la Russie sur la scène internationale » (dossiers syrien et iranien, jeux olympiques d’hiver de Sotchi, retour de la Crimée à son « port d’attache »etc.).La commercialisation de ces t-shirts étant un projet patriotique, les recettes des ventes serviront à financer les soins médicaux d’un petit garçon de huit mois originaire de la ville-martyre de Slaviansk (Ukraine) réfugié en Russie.
La popularité du président russe atteignant des sommets inégalés nulle part ailleurs (Poutine est crédité de 87 % d’opinions favorables), les t-shirts à son effigie se sont sans surprise vendus au nombre de 5000 en 24 heures.
