Roland Dumas, 95 ans mais en pleine forme, est l’ancien ministre des Affaires étrangères de François Mitterrand. Ces dernières années, il s’est parfois montré quelque peu politiquement incorrect sur certains sujets.
Aujourd’hui, le Figaro annonce un voyage qui pourrait faire couler beaucoup d’encre. Les 6 et 7 novembre 2017, Roland Dumas se rendra en Syrie où il sera reçu par le président Bachar el-Assad. Ensuite, il se rendra au Liban et sera reçu par le général Michel Aoun.
Roland Dumas devrait être accompagné de deux députés. Lesquels ? Mystère !
Rappelons que la France a fermé son ambassade à Damas au printemps 2012.
