Le parti catholique Civitas participait pour la première fois à des élections sous sa propre bannière, dans le cadre d’un cartel au sein de l’Union des Patriotes regroupant les Comités Jeanne, le PDF, le SIEL, la Ligue du Sud et l’Alliance Royale.
Présents dans 14 circonscriptions, il a courageusement affirmé les principes catholiques, pro-famille et pro-vie mais aussi patriotes, comme aucun ne l’a fait. Les résultats ne sont pas à la hauteur des espoirs mais il faut se souvenir que le Front National a fait moins de 1% durant plusieurs années avant de connaître son envolée. Or, la France était à l’époque moins malade qu’elle ne l’est aujourd’hui, et le corps électoral n’était pas encore impacté par l’immigration de grand remplacement comme il l’est aujourd’hui. L’important taux d’abstention constaté lors de ce premier tour des législatives est également un facteur négatif pour les petits partis.

Cependant, malgré ces scores modestes, Civitas doit rester le fer de lance d’un combat intégral pour le redressement de la France authentique.
