Le Conseil Régional de Paca, présidé par Christian Estrosi, (LR) a adopté, à l’unanimité moins une voix, jeudi 3 novembre 2016, une motion contre l’accueil des migrants :
« Accueillir plus de 1.000 clandestins d’ici à la fin 2016 semble à la fois irréaliste et irresponsable », précise le texte qui stipule que les exécutifs locaux peuvent s’opposer à l’accueil de migrants clandestins et soutenir les communes qui s’y opposent.
La région Paca veut s’opposer « par tous les moyens légaux à l’établissement de mini « jungles de Calais » est-il également écrit dans le texte.
Cette motion anti-migrants a été votée par les conseillers régionaux du groupe FN. Marion Maréchal-Le Pen a cependant publié un communiqué de presse dans lequel elle accuse Christian Estrosi de plagiat en expliquant que son groupe FN avait déposé une motion similaire avant le groupe LR.
« Probablement pris de cours par cette initiative et gêné à l’entournure de devoir voter une motion du FN, (M. Estrosi) a lui-même déposé dans la foulée une motion quasiment identique en un peu plus soft« , a-t-elle dit.
