Chili – Dans son homélie de Noël prononcée en la cathédrale métropolitaine, Mgr Ricardo Ezzati, archevêque de Santiago, a défendu la famille composée d’un papa, d’une maman et d’enfants formant un foyer au sein duquel les enfants pourront trouver les repères et l’amour pour grandir avec épanouissement.
Il n’en fallait pas plus pour que le lobby homosexuel chilien, par l’intermédiaire du Mouvement d’Intégration et de Libération Homosexuel (MOVILH), accuse Mgr Ricardo Ezzati d’être homophobe et de nier les droits des couples non mariés et des familles homoparentales.
Mgr. Ezzati, qui est également président de la Conférence épiscopale, avait pourtant offert des gages au politiquement correct en affirmant que «l’Eglise ne cesse d’accompagner ceux qui ont choisi une autre façon de fonder une famille et ne les abandonne pas ».
Mais pour MOVILH, le message de l’archevêque de Santiago est une déclaration claire de l’Eglise en faveur du seul mariage hétérosexuel, qui nie et rejette les autres réalités. Et dans leur esprit, cela s’appelle de l’homophobie.
MOVILH, lobby homosexuel qui travaille en étroite relation avec la communauté juive du Chili, lance donc une nouvelle campagne d’hostilité au catholicisme.
