Godiva est un chocolatier belge fondé par Joseph Draps en 1926. Les magasins de cette enseigne sont présents dans plusieurs grandes villes du monde comme Londres, New York et Tokyo. Mais, mondialisme oblige, Godiva avait été racheté en 1966 par le groupe américain Campbell Soup Company, qui l’a revendu fin 2007 au groupe turc Ülker, via son holding Yildiz.
Or, dix ans après ce rachat, le groupe turc Ülker estime le moment venu d’influencer à sa façon le contenu des boutiques Godiva : la production de pralines à l’alcool a été arrêtée depuis avril 2017.
Voilà qui ressemble étrangement à l’adaptation à un prescrit religieux de l’islam, même si le porte-parole de Godiva se limite à déclarer que la direction a « décidé de changer de stratégie ».
Cela rappelle un phénomène amorcé depuis des années : toutes ces boucheries reprises par des musulmans et qui ont cessé de vendre de la viande de porc, ainsi que toutes ces épiceries tenues par des musulmans qui ne vendent plus d’alcool.
