Le blog maçonnique de L’Express signale que, pour assurer la sécurité et l’accueil de son siège maçonnique de la Rue Cadet, le Grand Orient de France (GODF) est sous contrat avec la Société Samsic.
Particularité : « sur une douzaine de salariés détachés Rue Cadet par Samsic, la moitié d’entre eux sont francs-maçons ».

Au sein de l’obédience, le débat a surgi, car en mai dernier le Conseil de l’Ordre a été informé que plus de la moitié des agents francs-maçons de Samsic quittaient l’entreprise. Et cette dernière a manifestement des difficultés à recruter des initiés, compte tenu du salaire (proche du smic) et des conditions de travail (horaires…). Autre problème, et non des moindres, privilégier les francs-maçons lors du recrutement constitue une discrimination, ce qui est bien évidemment illégal.
En interne, des francs-maçons ont fait part de leur inquiétude de découvrir que des non-maçons puissent être en charge de la sécurité du siège du GODF.
Philippe Foussier répond que l’essentiel, c’est que la sécurité soit assurée par des professionnels. Pour sécuriser encore davantage son siège, le GODF pourrait-il imposer à ses membres le port d’une carte magnétique à l’entrée de la Rue Cadet (comme c’est le cas des frères de la GLNF, pour accéder au siège parisien de la Rue Pisan) ? «Nous pourrions y réfléchir», répond Philippe Foussier. Reste une difficulté à régler : il y a Rue Cadet un somptueux Musée, accessible aux profanes… et les visiteurs pourraient, par erreur (ou malveillance), s’égarer dans le reste du bâtiment.
