Le projet de loi bioéthique était à l’agenda du Conseil des ministres ce mercredi.
De plus en plus nombreux sont ceux qui perçoivent qu’il s’agit là d’une révolution vers la procréation artificielle et d’une étape vers la GPA.
«La suppression du critère d’infertilité constitue une vraie révolution. Si ce projet de loi est adopté tel quel, il ouvrirait de facto un droit à la procréation médicalement assistée “pour tous”, bien au-delà des couples de femmes et des célibataires. Seul le désir d’enfant ferait office de critère.» Alors que les couples infertiles qui ont recours à la PMA décrivent un parcours du combattant, on imagine cependant mal tous les Français se ruer vers les centres d’assistance médicale à la procréation plutôt que de faire des enfants sous la couette. «Mais on peut craindre une dérive vers l’eugénisme. En l’absence de limites, certains couples fertiles pourraient être tentés de faire une PMA pour avoir accès à des diagnostics préimplantatoires de l’embryon afin d’éviter toute anomalie ou tout risque génétique.»
