« Plus léger c’est mieux », et la bouteille de bière « light » lancée par le barman glisse à travers différents clients, noirs pour la plupart, pour arriver au près d’une jeune femme éloignée à la peau plus claire.
Le slogan de la pub déclare Lighter is better, « Plus léger c’est mieux ». Mais en anglais lighter peut signifier aussi « plus clair » et cela fait dire à certains que ce spot est raciste.
C’est le rapper américain, Chance the Rappe, qui a le premier lancé sur touitter la polémique qui s’est vite emballée sur les réseaux sociaux. Immédiatement Heineken s’est soumise aux diktats et a supprimé sa publicité en reconnaissant « avoir manqué la cible ».
La dictature de la pensée supprime surtout tout sens de l’humour et de l’analogie…
